Local data
Games you host are stored on your device using local storage. Ledger data (buy-ins, rebuys, cash-outs, settlements) and game history stay on your phone unless you use optional online join. LivePot Pro unlocks features in the app; Pro purchase status is handled by Apple. An optional profile photo you choose is stored on your device only.
Optional Sign in with Apple
You can sign in with Apple to save a display name and optional payment handles (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Apple Cash note) so friends can open those apps with the right amount at settle. Sign-in is never required to host, join, or settle. You can delete your account from Profile; that removes your LivePot profile and Firebase account. You can also revoke LivePot under Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple.
Joined games (online)
If a host shares an invite link and you join, that game’s live state is synced through Firebase (Google), including player names, pot and stack amounts, game status, and (when signed in) a link from your seat to your profile so settle pay buttons can load your handles. The app uses anonymous Firebase sign-in by default and a random device identifier on your phone so the host can approve join requests. Signing in with Apple links that anonymous session to your Apple credential.
Settle payment links
Optional Venmo / Cash App / PayPal buttons open those third-party apps (or their websites). LivePot never sends money, never processes payments, and does not use Apple Pay as a merchant.
Analytics
LivePot uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand aggregate app usage (for example, sessions and screen views) so we can improve the product. Analytics data is not used for advertising. See Firebase Privacy.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising SDKs in LivePot.
